Himiko – From Sorrow to Awakening is a soul-centered narrative in which Kayo Shiokawa conveys the inner cries and reflections of Himiko, as received through meditation. The text is not a historical account, but a spiritual dialogue with the consciousness of Himiko—a figure burdened by loneliness, sacrifice, and the struggles of her time.
The story begins with a question: "What feelings arise when you think of Himiko?" It unfolds into an emotional journey where Himiko recounts how, in order to unite a land torn by strife, she became a miko-queen who constantly suppressed her own heart. Her repeated inner voice—"If only I endure…"—reveals a life of repression, where even her longing for her mother was silenced in favor of duty and ritual.
While she practiced "kido" (the way of spirits) for the sake of peace, she also carried the pain of having been used as a tool of power and war. Her frequent cries of "I'm so lonely," "I'm going mad," and "I want to see my mother" express the deep sorrow that still resides in her consciousness.
Eventually, Himiko's heart begins to turn toward the Mother Universe, expressing a desire to return home—to love. She calls out to others who have lived as mikos across lifetimes: "Let us go home together." Finally, Himiko finds the courage to speak from her heart, not as a symbol of power or mystery, but as a soul seeking healing.
This work is not merely about Himiko as a historical figure. It is a message to all of us who carry the spiritual imprint of the miko within—an invitation to face the darkness in our hearts, remember our longing for the Mother, and awaken to the love that has always been there.
「卑弥呼、悲哀から目覚めへ」は、塩川香世さんが瞑想を通して感じ取った卑弥呼の心の叫びと、その思いとの対話から成る魂の記録です。
冒頭では「卑弥呼といえばどんな思いが湧いてくるか」と問いかけ、彼女が背負ってきた深い悲しみや孤独、争いの時代の中で人々の心をまとめるために巫女王となった苦悩が語られます。卑弥呼の中には「自分さえ我慢すれば」という思いが常にあり、神の声を聞く者として心を押し殺し、母への思いを閉ざして生きてきたといいます。
彼女の「鬼道」は、人々の安寧のためであった一方、争いの根源に利用されていったことへの葛藤も綴られます。繰り返される「寂しい」「狂いそう」「母に会いたい」という叫びが、彼女の魂の根底にある思いを物語っています。
やがて彼女の心は「母なる宇宙」に帰ることを求め、霊的な目覚めへの意志が語られます。今なお巫女としての過去を抱える人々に向け、「ともに母のもとへ帰ろう」と呼びかけながら、卑弥呼自身もまた、ようやく自らの心を語り始める決意に至ります。
